• Packaging
Besides bringing you the coolest, weirdest movies around, we at ANTIMATTER take pride in the funky case art we design for our releases. Whereas other sellers offer some of the same films in a blank or generic box, we spend a lot of time getting the artwork for our releases looking just right.
  • Subtitles
We sell films in English as well as other languages. Some of the films are subtitled or dubbed, and some are not. This is always indicated on the individual page for each of the DVDs, so please make sure you check this if it matters to you. Though, honestly, all we really sell is sex and violence (and CHEESE!)—the languages of which are universal. Or Multiversal.
  • Terminology
    • Video System
All of our DVDs, unless noted otherwise, are in the NTSC video system. This is the format used in North America and many parts of Asia. The PAL system is used in Europe, but almost all modern PAL systems can also play NTSC content.
    • Region Code
DVDs and DVD players have region codes, which are meant to disable the playing of an Australian DVD in the USA, for instance. All of our DVDs have a region code of “0”. This means that the DVD will play on your system regardless of the region code your player is set to.
    • Format
We use the DVD-R format. Almost all DVD players can play DVD-Rs. If you don’t know if your player is capable of playing DVD-Rs. Please check its compatability at this page
    • Audio/Picture Quality Ratings
We rate on a scale of 1-10. A 10 would be the quality you would expect from a normal studio-released DVD. An 8 is equivalent to a new VHS. Since most of our material has never been officially released, the quality is often substantially lower than that of a regular DVD. But funnier.
